Former hostage Eliya Cohen announced yesterday (Wednesday) that his book 'Mufwadat' (negotiation) has been published in its fifth language – Russian, and distributed to Russian speakers. Cohen shared excitedly: 'I am excited to tell you that the 5th language of my book is already out. Thank you for the privilege of spreading my testimony around the world.' The book describes the 505 days he spent in Hamas captivity. Cohen said he began writing immediately upon his return from captivity, in the hospital, to document not only what he went through but who he is. For six months he wrote night and day, with tears and sweat. The book has sold over 40,000 copies and received the 'Platinum Book' award from the Israel Book Publishers Association. Cohen is expected to marry his fiancée Ziv Aboud this August, who also survived the massacre at the death shelter. The proposal took place in October, two years after the massacre.
