This morning, the opening hearing in the murder trial of the late Binyahu Razi will take place, during which the procedural arrangements will be set, but the evidence itself will not yet be discussed. Six defendants are charged with intentional murder and aggravated assault: four minors aged about 15-17, Agam Tzarfati (19) from Jerusalem, and Shilat Huta (20) from Be'er Sheva. The four minors are also charged with illegal possession of a knife and obstruction of justice. Linor Sasson (46) from Jerusalem is charged with aiding after the fact and obstruction of justice. According to the indictments, there was a romantic relationship between Agam Tzarfati and the late Binyahu Razi. A few days before the incident, Agam and Shilat rented an Airbnb apartment in Jerusalem and invited the victim and his friend there. During their stay, a quarrel developed, and the next day the two left after claiming violence by the victim. Later, they told Linor Sasson and the four minors about it, and they decided to attack the victim and his friend, saying they intended to "finish him off." The minors equipped themselves with knives, a folding bat, a stabbing tool, razors, and a hammer that were used. The suspects traveled to the area where the victim and his friend were staying, convinced them to come up to the apartment, and there a confrontation developed. The victim was attacked with the bat, knives, and other weapons, was stabbed in the chest and hand, and collapsed. His friend, who tried to help, was hit with a hammer and stabbed in the hand. As a result of the stab to his chest, which penetrated his heart, the victim died. After the incident, the suspects fled, and Linor Sasson helped some of them escape. Six were arrested shortly afterward, and one of the minors fled and hid for more than two weeks until he was arrested.
