Boaz Haetzni's column argues that the report, approved for publication by the censor, that elements in one of the region's countries advised another country to make tactical concessions and sign an agreement with Israel to lull it into complacency while preparing for a larger confrontation, proves that the peace agreements with Arab states are an illusion. Haetzni criticizes the peace agreement with Egypt, which he says is nothing but a non-belligerency agreement, and notes that Egypt violates the military limitations in Sinai, smuggles weapons into Gaza, and builds military infrastructure. He recalls Sadat's words about Begin, and compares the peace with Egypt to the Oslo Accords, which he says led to the Second Intifada and over a thousand deaths. He calls for not withdrawing from Gaza and Lebanon, and warns against an agreement with the leader of Syria, Jolani, whom he calls 'a murderer in a suit' and 'an al-Qaeda leader'. Haetzni argues that the report should put an end to the illusions of peace agreements with a barbaric culture.
