He claimed the intensity of the attack was far greater than official reports: according to him, the compound was attacked with 110 bombs and missiles, not seven or eight as published. He said Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the eliminated leader, went out to the compound courtyard just minutes before the strike. Mojtaba's wife and son were killed on the spot, and he himself was lightly wounded in his leg. The attack targeted several buildings in the Khamenei family's residential compound, including a religious hall where Khamenei used to deliver speeches.
