The Classroom Awaits Them: Hundreds of Teachers from North America on Their Way to Israel

The accompaniment will begin at the stage of considering the idea of aliyah and continue through absorption and placement in schools across the country. The program will help remove bureaucratic and professional barriers, and allow the process of recognizing certificates, degrees, and professional seniority to begin before aliyah. It is expected to launch in the coming year and aims to identify hundreds of teachers in the process of aliyah and lead their integration into the education system ahead of the next school year (5768, 2027-2028). In parallel, recognition and professional conversion processes for additional candidates will be advanced. The Education Ministry will place teachers according to system needs, matching their training, experience, areas of expertise, age group, region, and educational institution.
