The BAIC electric cars, a Chinese brand sold at the Rami Levy chain at a launch price of NIS 100,000, have increased by 10% to NIS 110,000. The initial price was for a limited edition of only 100 units, launched about two months ago in a collaboration between car importer Deleh Motors and the Rami Levy marketing chain. According to the chain's publications, demand was so high that the company's website crashed. However, the price update was only made in recent days, suggesting it may have taken longer to sell all units. The model in question is the BAIC EU5, an older model in the Chinese automotive industry, equipped with only two airbags. The official price of the car is NIS 135,000. Deleh stated that the collaboration continues at full force, expanding the offering.
