The freezing of tenders, including for the position of head of the High Court of Justice department, led to a lawsuit by the prosecution workers' committee to the labor court, which is expected to decide the dispute. The move, which began in July 2025, is intended, according to them, to prevent the mixing of extraneous considerations and to strengthen public trust. As part of the reform, tenders were frozen, including for the position of head of the High Court of Justice department, until the start of the pilot. The prosecution workers' committee filed a lawsuit with the labor court, claiming that the freeze violates agreements from 2021. State Attorney Amit Isman cooperated with the committee and appointed a representative, but opposed expanding the pilot beyond the agreements. The labor court is expected to decide the dispute.
