"Terrorist infiltrator": indictment against the impersonator "Tarzan" who threatened Zvi Sukkot and Itamar Ben Gvir
A 30-year-old resident of Shuafat was charged with impersonating another person and sending threats on social media, including to MK Zvi Sukkot. The indictment was filed after an investigation by Lahav 433, and the court extended his detention. The police raised the threat level against Sukkot to level 4 and increased his security.
During July, a 30-year-old resident of Shuafat, who called himself "Tarzan," impersonated another person with whom he was in conflict, using his profile picture. He sent a photo of a gun, magazine, and bullets on Facebook to the Shuafat police coordinator, writing that he had a gun at home and shoots every day. In addition, he sent MK Zvi Sukkot a message with severe threats, including "the time will come when you fly to hell, you dog." Following the report to the police, the Lahav 433 cyber unit opened an investigation, located his real identity, and arrested him. Yesterday, an indictment was filed along with a request for detention until the end of proceedings, and the court extended his detention. Due to the serious threat, the Knesset and police raised the threat level against Sukkot to level 4, and his security was reinforced. Additional threats were received after Sukkot conducted tours in schools in the Arab sector as chairman of the Education Committee.
