Tair Rada murder case to be re-examined - Ilana: 'This was my heart's desire'

According to her, no official had updated her or her lawyer about the move, and she does not know what stands behind it. Rada welcomed the decision and said that reopening the case was her heart's desire. She expressed hope that the examination would be conducted honestly and fairly, and claimed that there is forensic evidence in the case that has not been examined. Rada emphasized that her goal is not to exonerate Roman Zadorov, but to find the real murderers. Zadorov, who was convicted of murder, served 15 years in prison and was acquitted in 2023. Last September, it was reported that the state would compensate him with 17 million shekels. The affair began in December 2006, when Tair's body was found in a bathroom stall at the "Nofei Golan" school in Katzrin.
