An 18-year-old who ran a TikTok account glorifying mass murderers stormed a school in Fagersta, Sweden, armed with a sword, killing a 17-year-old girl and wounding three minors. Twenty minutes before the attack, he posted a photo of the sword in the school bathroom.

An 18-year-old resident of Fagersta, Sweden, stormed the Brynäs school where he studied on Friday, armed with a sword, killing a 17-year-old girl and wounding three minors, two seriously. The attacker, who wore a helmet during the assault, ran a TikTok account with about 3,500 followers, where he posted edited videos glorifying mass murderers, including Anders Breivik and perpetrators of school shootings. Twenty minutes before the attack, he posted a photo of the sword in a guitar case in the school bathroom with the caption "No More Edits" and a sad emoji. In interrogation, he told investigators he hoped to kill more students. The attacker had a prior conviction for assault at a school. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and opposition leader Magdalena Andersson visited the scene and laid flowers. Political campaigns for the September elections were suspended following the murder. Police discovered the attacker was active in an online community encouraging school violence.
