MDA teams who were called to the scene found him unconscious in the car, without a pulse and without breathing, and performed resuscitation while evacuating him to the hospital, but shortly afterward his death was determined. A close associate of Haj Yahya told Walla that the background to the incident is a financial dispute, and described the extent of weapons on the streets and the fear that prevents residents from reporting. A relative said the feeling is one of fear that has become routine, and called for a house-to-house operation to collect weapons.
