Suspected of leaving pistol bullets and knives at bank and supermarket entrances - arrested

A 54-year-old Holon resident was arrested on suspicion of leaving pistol bullets, knives, and red X markings at the entrances of two Mizrahi Bank branches and a Rami Levy branch in the Gush Dan area. The investigation, led by the Holon police station, led to his arrest within hours. Police attribute to him offenses of threats and property damage.

A 54-year-old Holon resident was arrested on suspicion of involvement in three unusual incidents that occurred on Friday in the Gush Dan area. In the incidents, pistol bullets, knives, and red X markings were left at the entrances of two Mizrahi Bank branches and a branch of the Rami Levy chain. In Bat Yam, at a Mizrahi Bank branch on 2 Yohanan Hasandlar Street, a pistol bullet was found attached to the entrance door handle. In Holon, at a Rami Levy branch on 7 HaPeled Street, another pistol bullet was found attached to the door, and X markings were sprayed on the branch's windows. In Tel Aviv, at a Mizrahi Bank branch on 105 Allenby Street, three knives were found stuck in the entrance door, painted red, the mezuzahs were painted red, and X markings were sprayed on the door. Upon receiving the reports, Tel Aviv District police officers were dispatched to the three scenes, collected evidence, and opened an investigation assigned to the Holon station. Investigators performed forensic and technological operations, after which they managed to trace the suspect's identity and arrest him. The suspect was transferred for questioning at the Holon station and was jailed at its conclusion. Police attribute to him offenses of threats and property damage, and this evening investigators are expected to request the court to extend his detention.
