A 20-year-old man was shot dead last night (Wednesday) in Muqeible, after being wounded by gunfire. An MDA team was called to the scene and evacuated the victim to HaEmek Medical Center in critical condition while performing resuscitation, but the medical team was ultimately forced to determine his death. Police opened an investigation. Paramedic Mordechai Dadashvili and medic Yossi Akrish said they saw the wounded man unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with severe gunshot wounds, and provided him with advanced medical care. The Abraham Initiatives organization reported that 159 Arabs have lost their lives since the beginning of 2026 in circumstances related to crime and violence. In another incident yesterday, a 57-year-old man, a resident of Tira, was shot dead in Tayibe, and was found shot inside his vehicle. Police officers from the Sharon District at the Tayibe station opened an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting, and began collecting evidence, isolating the scene, along with a manhunt for suspects. The background to the incident is apparently an ongoing blood feud.
