Suspected Murder in Netivot: Man in His 40s Shot Dead – Criminal Background

A man in his 40s was shot dead on Saturday in a violent incident in Netivot. Medics and paramedics from Magen David Adom performed CPR but were forced to pronounce his death. In the incident, a 29-year-old man was lightly injured, apparently a passerby who was at the scene and not involved in the incident; he was taken to the hospital in light condition. Police reported that an investigation was opened, and Netivot station forces began collecting evidence and conducting searches for suspects. According to suspicion, the background is criminal and it is an attempted hit; the victim is a criminal known to police. A senior medic from MDA's motorcycle unit, Uriel Cohen, described the treatment of the injured and the location of the second injured person.
