Suspect Arrested for Throwing Stones at Entrance of Channel 12 News

Two days after the glass doors of the Channel 12 News building in Tel Aviv were smashed and a threatening letter was left, police arrested a Ramat Gan resident in his 40s. The investigation was conducted jointly with the Shin Bet and the Ayalon District Police. The incident occurred on the night between Monday and Tuesday. The letter, addressed to media figures and public officials, contained threats and a demand to apologize for the 'Shdeh Teiman affair.' The suspect was arrested following the use of intelligence and investigative means. The arrest comes against the backdrop of a series of attacks against media systems in the past month, including the smashing of doors at the same building earlier this month and the throwing of stones at the Haaretz newsroom. Investigators are checking whether the suspect is responsible for additional incidents.
