Struk responds to criticism: 'I married an Algerian - I am both'

Settlement Minister Orit Struk was interviewed on 103fm and addressed several issues. First, she responded to criticism about the composition of her party, Religious Zionism, which faced claims of a lack of Mizrahi representation. Struk argued that since she married a man of Algerian descent, she is essentially a Mizrahi woman: 'I married an Algerian husband - I am both.' According to her, the essential question is the qualifications of the list members, not their origin. She then sharply attacked reserve Major General Avi Mizrahi, who said that the incident in Kfar Tel is not an attack, and accused him of justifying the murder of Jews: 'These words are a disgrace and a shame.' Struk emphasized that the hikes in Kfar Tel take place every Friday and a similar incident has never occurred. She also referred to Netanyahu's visit to Washington and said there is a need to present the Israeli position regarding Iran and other arenas.
