The Religious Zionism party primaries have concluded: Orit Struk was elected to first place, Simcha Rothman to second, and Zvi Sukkot to third by a margin of one vote. The primaries of the Religious Zionism party, headed by Bezalel Smotrich, concluded today (Sunday) with a high voter turnout: 170 out of 173 eligible voters cast their ballots. The three party members who did not vote are Ofir Sofer, Moshe Solomon, and Orit Struk herself. After the vote count, Minister of Settlement and National Missions Orit Struk was elected to first place, and Simcha Rothman to second. Zvi Sukkot took third place, beating Ohad Tal by a single vote. In sixth place is Omas Rahamim, followed by Michal Waldiger, Shmuel Sasson, Zvika Vishingrad, Itam Tam, and Nathan Zaubman in 11th place. Alongside this, there is the expected slot reservation for Zvika Mor. Voting took place at two physical locations and via a secure online system for reserve soldiers. Smotrich praised the list and said that together with Zvika Mor and other figures, it will bring victory in the upcoming elections. The party's director general, Yehuda Vald, emphasized the power of a living and true democracy. Recent polls give Religious Zionism between four and five seats, so the battle for realistic positions is expected to be tight.
