The campaign, which began following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Ben Zaken's performance, displays Yerushalmi's image alongside the caption "We will not forget Eden Yerushalmi, we will not forgive Eden Ben Zaken." On Yerushalmi's memorial page, it was written that "since October 7 we have been living in hell" and that "every such post is another blow to her and to us, a despicable exploitation of her death and a reopening of a wound that will never heal." Her mother, Shirit, published a similar statement. The family emphasizes that Yerushalmi "is not a slogan nor a tool for political bashing" and calls for an end to the use of her name and death for political purposes.
