Stole a truck in Eilat and drove to southern Mount Hebron – without a driver's license

An indictment was filed against a 58-year-old resident of Eilat, who stole an Iveco truck parked in the Sdeh neighborhood of the city. The suspect entered the vehicle, started it, and drove north on Highway 90 to the southern Mount Hebron area. The drive was conducted without a truck driver's license and without mandatory insurance. A few days after the theft, police located the suspect and arrested him in Eilat. During the investigation, it emerged that he had driven the heavy truck without training or legal authorization. The prosecution unit of the Eilat district police filed an indictment against him, charging him with vehicle theft, driving without a license appropriate for the vehicle type, and driving without insurance.
