The Ministry of Economy and Industry announced the launch of a new grant track for businesses adopting artificial intelligence and digital technologies. The track, totaling 9 million NIS, will fund 35% of recognized investment costs, up to 350,000 NIS per business. The program targets businesses in commerce, services, and industry with annual turnover up to 100 million NIS. Its goal is to encourage investments in computing, automation, digital systems, and AI tools to increase productivity and strengthen competitiveness. Eligible investments include implementing ERP and CRM systems, inventory management, procurement and supply chain, integrating AI and advanced technologies, and automation in production systems. The ministry noted that studies indicate relatively low use of digital tools in Israeli businesses, especially in commerce, non-high-tech services, and traditional industry. Economy Minister Nir Barkat said, 'Productivity is the growth engine of the Israeli economy, and the way to increase it is through embedding innovation in every business and every factory.'
