Police have opened an investigation.

A criminal defense lawyer from Tel Aviv filed a second police complaint last night (Sunday) within about two weeks, after finding a cut in one of her car tires. According to her, the cut appeared to be deliberate sabotage, likely made with a knife. The first complaint was filed on August 5 following threats she received over a 3,000-shekel debt owed by a client. In a correspondence she showed to Walla, she wrote: "I'm telling you! I won't let this go, just threatening me, and it won't come quietly." The person sent by the client replied: "I'm not threatening." The lawyer said her first thought was the murder of lawyer Arbel Feldman in Rishon LeZion. She said: "The murder of the lawyer in Rishon LeZion immediately crossed my mind. I told myself: I hope this isn't someone taking revenge on me and warning me now." At this stage, she has no information linking the two incidents, but the proximity in time raises concern. She is re-examining cases she handled. The lawyer asked that her name not be published. Police said an investigation has been opened.
