Social activist Tehila Eizman collapsed during Pilates class and died
Tehila Eizman, a well-known social activist in Hadera, died this morning at the age of 68 after collapsing during a Pilates class last week. Her daughter Michal speaks of a devoted teacher and a grandmother who lived 'like a queen'. The incident occurred at a gym on Mordechai Karlitz Street; rescue teams restored heart activity, but her condition deteriorated.
Tehila Eizman, a well-known social activist in Hadera, died this morning (Monday) at the age of 68, after collapsing during a Pilates class in the city last week. She was rushed to the hospital after United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom teams restored heart activity, but her condition was serious and her death was determined. Her daughter Michal said that her mother was 'an anchor for so many circles', a healthy woman who lived 'like a queen'. Eizman was a respected teacher in Hadera, who worked until the last day before her retirement, and participated in public struggles. She will be buried tomorrow at the cemetery in Hadera.
