Finance Minister and leader of the Religious Zionism party, Bezalel Smotrich, presented the 'Reservists Go Home' plan aimed at reducing the burden on reservists. The plan includes three main directions: reducing reserve service to 30 days per year starting in 2027; a national program for drafting ultra-Orthodox; and passing a Basic Law on those serving based on the principle 'he who serves receives everything.' The plan also proposes expanding the pool of those serving and returning about 50,000 soldiers to active duty. Details of implementation and funding sources are not disclosed.
