Smotrich goes on the attack: "The media is inflating Vinter, his chances of passing are close to zero"

Religious Zionism chairman Bezalel Smotrich attacked in an interview "Amcha Israel" chairman Ofer Vinter for refusing to unite in a technical bloc, saying his chances of passing the electoral threshold are close to zero. Smotrich also addressed the slotting of Yossi Bechar, the union with Zehut, sitting with Haredim in the government, and the economic situation.

Religious Zionism chairman Bezalel Smotrich attacked in an interview on the "Sari and Shlezinger" podcast "Amcha Israel" chairman Ofer Vinter, against the backdrop of Vinter's refusal to unite in a technical bloc ahead of the Knesset elections. Smotrich said that "his chances of passing the electoral threshold are close to zero," and that "the media is inflating him so he thinks he will pass and bring down the right." According to him, friends from the military and associates were sent to Vinter to convince him to unite, and he was offered the preservation of a separate framework. Smotrich mentioned Ayelet Shaked and Bennett in 2019 as an example of a crash below the electoral threshold. He also addressed the slotting of reserve Major General Yossi Bechar in an unrealistic spot, and revealed that he wanted to slot him in second place. Smotrich said that Bechar understands that "the idea of a Palestinian state must be killed." He defended sitting with Haredim in the government, saying that the alternative of Yair Golan and Gantz scares him. In the economic field, he claimed achievements: inflation of 1.5%, a drop in interest rates, and a 15% drop in housing prices, and attacked "the communist cell in the Likud" that blocked the milk reform.
