Smotrich and Strook against the move in Gaza: "Enormous pressure will be exerted on Israel"

Ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Orit Strook have appealed to the Prime Minister demanding a corrective cabinet decision that would prevent the entry of a multinational force into the Gaza Strip before the disarmament of Hamas. The two warn of accelerated preparations at the LSA camp, intended to absorb ISF forces. According to data presented by the ministers, the camp has residential infrastructure for about 1,500 foreign soldiers, including 20 large tents and about 100 temporary structures, as well as a fleet of military vehicles suitable for about 1,000 soldiers. The camp will eventually be able to absorb about 5,000 soldiers. The ministers claim that the preparations are for a much larger force with a different role than what was presented to the cabinet, and that all this is happening while Hamas shows no willingness to disarm. In their letter, they warned: "Enormous pressure will be exerted on Israel to allow its entry, even though the disarmament has not yet been carried out."
