Juan Orona, 29, is accused of murdering his partner Nohany Flores-Osuna (41) and her two children, Maya DeLeon Flores (16) and Noah Morales Flores (7), in a Las Vegas apartment. The shooting occurred on September 1. According to the arrest report, the confrontation began over suspicions of infidelity: Orona saw Flores-Osuna's car next to a vehicle belonging to her ex, Henry. During the confrontation, Flores-Osuna confirmed she had sex with Henry and told Orona he was "better in bed." Orona claimed he experienced a "blackout" immediately after hearing the words, and when he regained consciousness, he found himself in the bathroom holding a 9mm Glock pistol, noticing all three lying on the floor. He did not deny using the weapon but said he does not remember the shooting. Orona himself called the police around 7:10 PM, reported the shooting, and went to the station to surrender. Ten bullet casings were found at the scene. The gun was found in a bag in his car. Orona claimed he kept the weapon out of fear the ex would try to harm him. He is charged with three counts of murder with a deadly weapon and additional charges, and is held without bail.
