Following the incident, dozens of parents were called to pick up their children. The school is intended for children with complex disabilities, including nursing students who require medical equipment and close assistance. The parents claim that the air conditioners and equipment did not work, and that no professional disinfection was carried out after the sewage flooding. They demand comprehensive safety and sanitation tests. The municipality said that the move to a new building was postponed at the parents' request, and that the work, estimated at about 5 million shekels, is progressing without problems. The Ministry of Education said that supervisory officials are monitoring the handling of the incident.
