Severe Sexual Assault in Park – and the Mother's Phone Call That Stopped It All

Three teenagers have been indicted for the severe sexual assault of two minors in a park in Be'er Sheva. According to the indictment, they forced the victims to remove their clothes, attacked them violently, threatened them with a knife, and deleted tracking apps from their phones. A phone call from the mother of one of the victims stopped the assault. The suspects were arrested, and one of them violated house arrest.

Three teenagers have been charged in the Be'er Sheva District Youth Court with the severe sexual assault of two minors in a public park. According to the indictment, the two victims were returning from an evening in the park when the suspects, who were sitting on a bench drinking alcohol, called them over. One of the suspects held a kitchen knife. The three forced the minors to remove their clothes, sexually assaulted them, committed serious acts against them while threatening and using violence, and demanded they perform sexual acts on each other. One suspect pressed a knife against one of the victims when he tried to resist. They beat the victims, took their phones, deleted tracking apps, and documented some of the acts. The incident was stopped when the mother of one of the minors called him, and one of the suspects ordered him to lie to her. After the call, they returned the victims' belongings, threatened them that if they told anyone they would harm their families, and fled. The minors returned frightened, told their families, and the parents filed a complaint. The three were arrested, and one of them violated house arrest from previous offenses. The prosecution requested to extend his detention until the end of proceedings, arguing that he exploited the boys' fear. The other two requested to extend their house arrest conditions.
