The importer of the Sephora brand in Israel, 'Glam 42', sells cosmetics without the Hebrew labeling required by law, as reported today (Monday) in the Gilboa Index. According to the Cosmetics Regulations of the Health and Economy Ministries, every product sold in Israel must bear clear Hebrew labeling including product name, manufacturer and importer details, country of origin, usage instructions, and safety warnings. Additionally, the Consumer Protection Law prohibits any situation that may mislead the consumer. Following consumer complaints, i24NEWS reporter Dana Yarkechi investigated the issue, and 'Glam 42' stated that they had run out of stickers. The Health Ministry has not yet responded. 'Glam 42''s response claims that all products are sold with clear labeling according to the law and invites a re-examination.
