The chairman of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Ebrahim Azizi, threatened US President Donald Trump overnight (Sunday) amid the escalating confrontation over control of the Strait of Hormuz. "Instead of continuing to boast endlessly about the Strait of Hormuz, it would be better if the US president worried about his personal safety before he is forced to hide in a food truck," Azizi wrote on X. His remarks referred to the covert operation last month in which Trump was moved from a catering truck at Ankara airport to an alternate military aircraft, after US intelligence identified a targeted threat to his plane.
