The doctor, born in 2005, a resident of Khan Younis, was admitted to the IPS at the end of June and served as a doctor in Gaza. At the Sde Teiman facility, he was involved in disciplinary incidents. Meanwhile, Palestinians announced the release of 60 detainees from Gaza via the Kerem Shalom crossing, including 20 workers and 40 detainees held at the Negev prison. Physicians for Human Rights demanded the release of 14 Gaza doctors arrested during the war, alleging harsh detention conditions. The IPS has denied similar claims in the past.
