Secret Name and Elite Mansions: Investigation into Yanukovych (VIDEO)

Investigative journalists from the YouTube channel 'Telebachennya Toronto' have discovered that fugitive former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych obtained a Russian passport under the name Oleg Nikolaevich Leonov and acquired an elite mansion in Sochi under the protection of the FSO. Analysis of Russian registries and data leaks also showed that his family has become fabulously wealthy, purchasing real estate in Moscow, the Moscow region, and Sochi.

Investigative journalists from the YouTube channel 'Telebachennya Toronto' analyzed Russian state registries, leaked databases, flight records, phone numbers, and geolocations from social media. They established that fugitive former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, hiding in Russia, obtained a Russian passport under the name Oleg Nikolaevich Leonov. In Sochi, he acquired an elite mansion under round-the-clock protection by officers of the Russian Federal Protective Service. During his years in exile, the Yanukovych family has become fabulously wealthy: new estates, apartments, and hundreds of hectares of land are registered to his common-law wife Lyubov Polezhay, stepdaughter Maria Sadykova, son Alexander, and daughter-in-law. The main assets are concentrated in Moscow, the Moscow region, and Sochi. The investigation also recalls that in the fall of 2025, Russian propaganda resources released a staged video address with Yanukovych, which ISW analysts explained as an attempt by the Kremlin to use his figure in information games.
