Throughout the night, police forces operated continuously, under the command of the Carmel District Commander, to locate the young man. The search is being conducted at sea, in the air, and along the coastline, using a variety of means. The Police Commissioner, Chief Superintendent Danny Levy, and the Coastal District Commander, Superintendent Yehiel Bohadana, arrived at the scene and conducted a situation assessment. Participating in the operations are officers and volunteers of the Carmel District, Border Guard fighters, the maritime police and the aerial unit, alongside all emergency and rescue bodies and the Haifa Municipality. ZAKA volunteers are also participating in the search. Last night, a report was received at the ZAKA hotline about a man who entered the sea and did not come out. The ZAKA Northern District Commander, Rabbi Anshel Friedman, stated that the organization's volunteers have been at the scene since the night hours. The ZAKA Special Units Commander, Chaim Otmazgin, added that the volunteers are using available technologies to assist in the search.
