Saw the police and tried to flee - but a small mistake gave him away

The incident occurred on July 27, 2026. The driver spotted the police car, reversed toward the town, drove onto a median, and endangered road users. Officers pursued and arrested him. During the check, he identified himself using his brother's name, but a records check revealed he was disqualified from driving by court order for 21 months. It was also found that he had an eight-month suspended sentence pending, and at the time he was serving community service following a conviction for driving while disqualified. His vehicle was seized and impounded for 30 days. After an investigation by the Traffic Investigation Unit of the Galilee District, an indictment was filed against him, along with a request for his detention until the end of proceedings and revocation of his license.
