Russia unexpectedly accuses US of attacks and demands explanations

Moscow has stated that it possesses data on the direct involvement of the United States in strikes on Russian territory. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that Russia has sent corresponding questions to Washington and expects official clarifications. This was reported by Russian state and propaganda media. Lavrov emphasized that Moscow does not intend to make the US cessation of military aid to Ukraine a mandatory condition for starting the negotiation process. "We do not issue ultimatums," he said. At the same time, the Russian side has transmitted to the US State Department questions regarding arms supplies to Ukraine, the transfer of intelligence information, and possible American assistance in strikes on Russian facilities. Russia also promises to intensify pressure on Western support, continuing attacks on facilities and infrastructure that Moscow considers part of Western aid to the Ukrainian army. Lavrov claims that such actions are already causing discontent abroad. He made it clear that Moscow is not ready to halt hostilities solely on the current front line, and a ceasefire without fulfilling other demands does not align with the Kremlin's position.
