The partisan movement "ATESH" reports that in several regions of Russia, inspections of military training grounds have begun to assess their readiness for mass accommodation of people. According to the movement, special commissions are already working at the Kadamovsky training ground in the Rostov region and at Alabino in the Moscow region, evaluating the state of infrastructure. Official Russian authorities continue to state that a new draft is not planned. However, according to "ATESH", preparations for a large-scale mobilization campaign may begin after the State Duma elections scheduled for September. The movement also points to draft law No. 1322096-8, which introduces fines of up to 1 million rubles or suspension of company activities for up to 90 days for failure to comply with decisions of operational headquarters. According to "ATESH", this could be used to force businesses to transfer equipment and direct employees to army needs. Additionally, a sharp increase in the number of people leaving Russia is reported: in a few days, about 40,000 people crossed the Russian-Georgian border through a pedestrian checkpoint amid rumors of a possible draft.
