Ronen Tzor warns: "If they don't shrink their ego - they will find themselves in a political desert" | Listen

Political commentator Ronen Tzor, in an interview with 103FM, warns that parties and political figures who do not reduce their egos may find themselves outside the political arena. Tzor referred to the party being established by Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter, the tensions between him and Gadi Eisenkot, and possible alliances in the right-wing bloc and the anti-Netanyahu bloc. According to Tzor, Winter rules out a number of potential partners from both sides, including Naftali Bennett and Eisenkot, and Tzor wonders how he intends to integrate into the political system. Tzor estimates that Winter will encounter the same barrier that all new parties have encountered, and that his entry currently splits voters mainly within the deep right. Tzor suggests that a connection between Winter and other right-wing figures, such as Gideon Sa'ar or Yuli Edelstein, could generate significant electoral power. He notes that the deadline for submitting lists is September 7, and the pressure on parties to reach alliances is expected to increase.
