Dermer said no such call took place, and that he was party to all conversations between the two in his role expanding the Abraham Accords. He described the report as a "fabrication" and a "made-up story," noting that the Emiratis also clarified it did not happen. The denial comes amid previous reports that sparked political turmoil in Israel.
