Aviv Shushan, a participant in the 'Patriots' program, sharply criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's policy on equal military conscription and his alliance with ultra-Orthodox parties in an interview with the podcast 'Go and Find' on the All in platform. Shushan, a prominent representative of the right-wing camp, warned Netanyahu that this 'blind alliance' and conscription policy would ultimately cost him power. He believes the upcoming elections could bring a surprising result, not necessarily in favor of Likud or the ultra-Orthodox. Shushan also harshly criticized Shas chairman Aryeh Deri, saying he 'should go home' and had turned the traditional party into an ultra-Orthodox sectoral one, straying from the ideology of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. He accused United Torah Judaism chairman Yitzhak Goldknopf of behavior he called 'a disgrace'. Shushan stressed that Israeli society, including the traditional right-wing electorate, is no longer willing to tolerate inequality in the distribution of the burden, especially after October 7.
