Tamira Yardeni, one of the founders of the Israeli entertainment industry, is transferring control of the production company Teddy, which she founded with her husband Dudu in 1973, to Yoav Tzafir. The company, valued at approximately 50 million shekels, is behind a series of successful programs and series, including "Kochav Nolad," "The Next Star," "Dancing with the Stars," "Our Song," "The Eight," "Shemesh," and "Sabri Maranan." The sale comes after months of negotiations with the company SIPUR, headed by Emilio Shenkar and Gideon Tadmor, at a valuation of tens of millions of shekels, but the deal was not completed due to significant gaps. At the end of June, Yardeni and Tzafir informed employees of the cancellation of the deal. Subsequently, advanced contacts were reported between Pnina Adari and NMC to acquire control. Now, the sale of control to Tzafir marks a significant change in one of the production companies most identified with the era of commercial television in Israel.
