Reservists call on IDF chief to end siege in Khusra: 'Stop Jewish terror'

Eyal Zamir to act to 'stop Jewish terror - and uproot it'. According to organizers, over 300 reservists signed. The petition states that the soldiers served hundreds of days since October 7, risked their lives for Israel's security, but feel that IDF chiefs abandon them in the field and do not back them. They claim nationalist terror in the West Bank does not cease, and they are repeatedly required to intervene in friction incidents without tools and a real mandate. Petition organizer Maj. (res.) Aviad Hominer Rosenblum, who completed 270 reserve days since 10/7, told ynet that they are abandoned by senior command and the elected echelon, and their name is tarnished due to the military system's inaction. Capt. (res.) Tom Pinkhasi, among the signatories, added that armed groups operate in the field almost unimpeded, and the IDF is dragged into protecting the actions of a fanatical minority instead of enforcing law. Also, Democratic Party leader, Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yair Golan, condemned the siege in Khusra and said the anarchy led by the Netanyahu-Smotrich-Ben Gvir government endangers IDF soldiers. The petition also refers to the attack in the village of Tel about three weeks ago, in which Maj. Yuval Ezra and Binyahu Melt were killed.
