Reserve Colonel Hezi Nehemia, one of the leaders of the Forum of Reserve Commanders and Fighters, has announced he is joining the new party headed by Gilaad Erdan. Nehemia, a father of eight, spent hundreds of days on reserve duty during the war and was one of the authors of the 'Generals' Plan' to defeat Hamas. In his regular service, he held command positions in the Maglan special forces and the Givati Brigade, and commanded the Menashe and Alexandroni brigades. This move could strengthen Erdan's party, given Nehemia's standing among reservists and his contribution to military strategy.
