New recordings reveal that the late Senator Lindsey Graham held sensitive conversations with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Donald Trump, and other leaders, in which he pushed for the overthrow of the Iranian regime and a US strike in Lebanon. In a conversation from March 4, Netanyahu told Graham: "We are currently focusing on Iran," and warned against action against Hezbollah that could lead to escalation. Graham was also recorded in conversations with Trump, who said the war in Iran was "the best thing I ever did." The footage, shot by director Jesse Holder for a documentary, shows Graham as being close to Trump and promoting aggressive foreign policy. Graham expressed frustration over the lack of Republican support for the war and the interim agreement with Iran in June. The recordings also reveal his close ties with Israeli and Saudi officials.
