Singer Ofek Adnek revealed yesterday that he is the singer arrested on suspicion of violence against his ex-partner, and claimed he is the victim. This evening (Tuesday), i24NEWS reporter Gila Tzukron-Golan published new recordings that complicate his case. The recordings show that a neighbor who arrived at the scene to try to separate the couple, after hearing another loud argument, was cursed at by the singer. Later, Adnek is heard hurling severe curses at his partner, including the phrase: "You b****, you son of a b****, you wh***, do you want to see these sides of me?" Adnek's representatives stated: "It is important to emphasize that the person physically injured in his body from the ongoing incident is Ofek Adnek, and this was confirmed by the police and the court protocol. And as for the things said, they were said in the heat of the moment, after an injury to his leg, in a storm of emotions, without any such intention." Adnek was released yesterday to five days of house arrest at his mother's home. In a post he uploaded to social networks, he wrote: "The last few days have been complex for me. I experienced a breakup from a relationship that was full of powerful love. As part of an argument with my ex-partner, I was injured in my leg. Out of the pain and storm of that moment, the argument became charged and turbulent." He emphasized: "It is important for me to say clearly and unequivocally, I have never been and will never be violent, not towards her, not towards any woman, and not towards any person. Respect for people and women is a supreme value in my life." The affair includes mutual accusations: Adnek claims he was injured in his leg, while the recordings portray him as cursing his partner. The police confirmed his version of the physical injury, but the recordings may strengthen the suspicions against him.
