According to the suspicion, the suspect received a municipal fine and in response went on a revenge spree, setting the bins on fire and causing property damage and endangering public safety. The officers launched a swift investigation, collected evidence, gathered testimonies, and reviewed security cameras, locating and arresting the suspect in a short time. Ashdod station commander, Chief Superintendent Ronen Amram, said that setting fire to public property is a serious act that endangers the public, and praised the officers' actions. The police will continue with zero tolerance towards violence and vandalism.
