Ram Ben Barak: 'Eisenkot lacks experience - this is not the army'

MK Ram Ben Barak spoke this morning on Radio 103FM about the party's standing in the polls, his place on the list, and the rise of Gadi Eisenkot. Ben Barak expressed confidence he will be in the next Knesset, and said Eisenkot lacks experience in government work, 'this is not the army.' He also addressed the possibility that MK Yoav Segalovich will leave Yesh Atid for Ra'am, and said that whoever accepts Israel as a Jewish and democratic state is worthy, unlike Ahmad Tibi and Ben Gvir.

MK Ram Ben Barak gave his perspective this morning (Thursday) in an interview on Radio 103FM regarding the party's standing in the polls, expressed no concern about his place, and also addressed the political intentions and aspirations of Gadi Eisenkot and Yoav Segalovich. Ben Barak expressed confidence that he will be present in the next Knesset as well, and said: 'I am really not worried about this issue. I was not born to be an MK or a minister. My goal is to replace this terrible government.' He added that he is convinced he will be in a high place on the list. He then referred to the rise of Gadi Eisenkot and said that what Eisenkot presents is '180 degrees from Netanyahu,' but he lacks experience in government work: 'This is not the army; Lapid has it, Yesh Atid MKs have it.' He then discussed the possibility that MK Yoav Segalovich from Yesh Atid will leave the party for Ra'am, and said that whoever accepts Israel as a Jewish, democratic, and egalitarian state is worthy, while Ahmad Tibi and Ben Gvir are not worthy.
