Qatar: Hamas Fulfilled Its Commitments, Israel Must Implement Ceasefire Obligations

Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Majed al-Ansari, confirmed that Hamas has fulfilled all its commitments under the Gaza ceasefire agreement, calling on the international community to pressure Israel to implement its obligations. He noted that mediators continue their efforts to accelerate the implementation of the second phase, stressing that security aspects are a fundamental pillar. This comes amid continued violations by the occupation through artillery shelling and demolition of buildings.

He added that security aspects represent a fundamental pillar to ensure the implementation and continuation of the agreement, stressing that the success of ongoing efforts requires all parties to adhere to the terms of the agreement without delay. This comes at a time when the Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, through artillery shelling, gunfire, and demolition of buildings, targeting various areas of the Strip.
