Poll: 64% no longer see Tropper as part of the 'third bloc' | 39%: Winter's new party will hurt Netanyahu's opponents
A poll by Direct Polls for i24NEWS' 'Cabinet Friday' program, conducted on August 20, 2026, among 504 respondents, examined public perception of MK Hili Tropper's statement that he would not sit in a government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu. 64% of respondents said they no longer see him as part of the 'third bloc', but rather as part of the anti-Netanyahu bloc. 24% still see him as part of the third bloc, and 12% did not know. The survey also asked about the establishment of a new right-wing party headed by Ofer Winter: 39% estimated that the anti-Netanyahu bloc would benefit from the move, 36% believed it strengthens the Netanyahu bloc, and 25% did not know. Additionally, 49% of respondents believed that it was in the interest of Likud and right-wing camp voters for Tali Gottlieb to be placed at the top of the Likud list, 19% attributed this to the interest of Netanyahu's opponents in the media, and 7% to the interest of Bennett and Eisenkot. The sampling error is ±4.3%.
