The following day, the three were documented in the Petah Tikva area, and later the car they were traveling in was found at a gas station in the city, with one of its windows smashed and blood stains inside. Witnesses reported that several people got out of the car, removed its license plate, and fled the scene. Dayan's two friends gave different versions in their interrogations regarding the events preceding his disappearance. One claimed that the three were attacked by a group of Eritreans in the Yarkon Park area, and that after fleeing to the gas station, they split up. The second friend denied being involved in the incident. Due to contradictions in their versions, the two were arrested, and their detention was extended by six days. During the investigation, police received footage showing Dayan driving the car and arriving with it at the gas station, before the three leave the place and flee in different directions. Police assess that Dayan is alive and that he is wanted for questioning in the affair. The search for him continues.
