The investigation is examining the possibility that they deleted location data from their phones days before going missing, and that they withdrew a significant amount of cash. Police have set up a command center in Israel and abroad, with additional representatives on their way to Vienna. The Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung reported, citing Vienna police, that there is no indication of criminal activity. Vienna police spokesman Markus Ditterich said an internal investigation has been opened in cooperation with the Israeli diplomatic mission. The two, who observe Shabbat, were last seen during Shabbat near the city's central train station.
